This & That

I feel like I’m a broken record. I’m once again in PA, soon to be in MD. This time its for pleasure. My cousin is getting married!!! Its going to be a grand party.. a family reunion really. I hope its warm enough to swim.

I am stepping out momentarily to pick up the cooks from the airport. I hope we don’t hit a lot of traffic on the way back.

Its weird being here at ebh’s house by myself. Well, me and the dead mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor. I’m not having good luck with animals today.

*sigh*.. another weekends plans are dashed.. i am significantly less upset about this one though. i guess the pessimistic side of me is rejoicing being right..

i am too old to play these kinds of games. …fool me once…

on the other hand.. ACH is still having a party at her house for EH.. he’s 50! it should be a great time. KW and i are going to go.

i do have to mow my lawn today though. :( wah waaaaah.

this weekend i have a guest from albany coming.. i am pretty excited about it. however, my place is disaster area.

i’m still ill. this is the 3rd full week. i’ve been taking antibiotics and a couple other medications to no avail. in fact last night, i noticed my completely un-digested allergy pill in the toilet. it had passed all teh way through my body without being absorbed. wtf.. how many of my other pills are not being digested? ugh…

i hope that i am alive at the end of this weekend. ;)

next weekend is KHs wedding in MD.. i am pretty excited, it’s going to be an amazing time.. the babies will be there.. and all kinds of colorado family.. so exciting!

Wow. For being a Radisson, you’d think this hotel would be decent. My room is pretty beat up, the electrical outlet was loose, there are exposed wires under the AC. A hand print on the headboard, a huge stain on the floor, most of the furniture is banged up and or missing laminate. The bar last night was so loud the woman at the desk had to lean over the counter to hear me. Also while I checked in there were about 150 teenagers sprinting around the lobby. Thank god they were on their own floor.

also. when i pulled into the parking lot (after being tailgated for about 10  miles by what seemed to be a parking lot security guy) i felt very unsafe after seeing said tailgater get out of his vehicle and proceed to pee on another parked car in the parking lot.

it was about 9pm, and i really didn’t want to get out of my car. that was when i noticed about half a dozen other people milling around.. i was very concerned for the safety of myself and vehicle.

when i finally did bite the bullet and walk into the hotel, the music coming out of the bar area was at least at level 10..

for a total of about 189/night. this place was definitely not worth it. i’m actually boycotting Radissons in general from now on.. and i encourage you to do the same!
