this is the first time in 33 years that i ever remember hearing this song at christmas time. after a little research i see that it was sung in Elf by zooey (girl) deschanel.

this song really makes me mad.. it’s a”classic” but to me it sounds like date-rape.

it’s christmas time… i’ve fully embraced the season this year. i got a tree this weekend. my attempt to make it an upside down xmas tree failed. :( next year i need to look into buying one from home depot online earlier.

i was able to get a skirt fom the martha stewart collection that matches my curtains. :) i was also able to put out all my ornaments that i’ve been collecting since 1993. shiiiiiit.

i had to slightly rearrange my living room to do it..

i’m working on my christmas cards now and have a bunch of presents to wrap. i’m so festive.

i appreciate that you remove my yard waste from the curb in front of my house, but may i suggest you invest in a more quiet solution than a digger that essentially pushes the leaves and scoops them up? may i also suggest that you do this at a time other than 3am?

it’s crazy cold and miserable here in the good C-N-Y… and today is the last day of my heat strike.. it couldn’t have come at a better time. a lot of you said i couldn’t do it, but ha! i have not turned my heat on yet. it’s kicked on itself a few times which means the temp has dipped below 50, but it shuts off when the temp reaches 50 degrees..  i am actually looking forward to turning it on tomorrow after work, my fingers are numb, and my nose is constantly running.

i defrosted some morrocaan tagine (meatball soup) that cath made a while back and had it for dinner. omg it is so good!! the meatballs are so tender… i feel like heating up some more of it.

this weekend was fun.. it’s exciting that the babies are all displaying their unique personalities. it was also the first time that we got to see teags and auds play together. too funny… they are quite adorable. i love that teags repeats everything you say… i slept in the babies room so i offered to get up with zoe 2 of the nights. it wasn’t that hard/bad.. she is a really good baby. barely ever crying, and i lucked out with just pee diapers. hee hee…

last night cath, KW and i went to the wine and chocolate festival at the fair. by the end of it we were on a mission to scam all the free things we could. that was how i ended up with 2 martini glasses, 2 wine glasses, a bunch of red and purple balloons, and 13 verizon wine bottle stoppers.

then i dragged KW to shifty’s and mikey powell happened to be playing. we talked to a couple of SU art grads for a lot of the night. one is currently an adjunct professor at oswego. it sounds like there are not many of my old professors there any more, just cynthia clabough.

it’s 830pm and i’m just starting to not feel hungover. i’m too old for this S.
